Legacy Behavioral Health Services will begin providing services every Wednesday at the Fitzgerald Housing Authority, located at 314 South Sherman Street, Fitzgerald, GA 31750. This service will be available starting December 4, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We are excited to partner with Legacy Behavioral Health to offer this valuable resource to tenants who may be experiencing mental health challenges. For additional information or any questions, please contact the office at (229) 423-3755.

Important Announcements

We are now accepting applications for 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units at the Fitzgerald Housing Authority. Applications are available in the office and can also be printed from the website. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Residents have until April 14 to submit an application to NLHA’s Education Fund for resident scholarships! Check out our flyer here: NLHA 2025 Education Fund Flyer

NLHA offers 4 types of scholarships that include trade vocational, college, graduate school and a tuition assistance for nontraditional students. The awards can be as high as $4000. We generally award 30-40 scholarships. Since 2008 we have disbursed over $1.5 million to successful applicants. Applications are due by April 14. Please contact our office with any questions.
